Dubbyman opens with widescreen deep house on 'Always In & Out' which wraps Aki Dawson's hypnotic Chi-town vocals in slow-burning warmth. The Windy City's Specter follows with a warm, weighty beatdown rooted in the US Mid West before Boo Williams turns up the heat with rolling basslines and his signature rhythmic deftness, backed with a subtle cosmic glow. Taelue closes the set with 'Interplanetary' which is a raw, futuristic cut that drifts into spacey territory and, along with the other cuts, is a sharp reminder that Chicago house's future is in good hands.

"On a hot Ibizan summer the Rare Two fellas spent a period of 33 days on the island making tracks in a house garage with a couple of pieces of affordable gear and a whole lot of talent. We managed to create 33 tracks often burning them on CD to take to djs like Ricardo Villalobos at Amnesia and seeing the instant reaction of the crowd. We are a mega team of same mentality dudes who create from the heart breaking all rules and getting music done for a purpose. The Tripmastaz and Sneak Team is one to expect many great dance floor killers. As we call them Guttah Styles!

Recently I found these projects and since they were done on just a laptop and cheap small speakers, I gave them proper analog mixing and mastering.

All tracks remain exactly the same form and arrangement as they were originally done, including track Aww Lawd, that was featured on R. Villalobos BBC Radio 1 Pete Tongs mix back in 2018.

Mike Grinser at Mandmade Mastering did the lacquer cut and made it sound very crisp and loud a lot like it would've been cut in the 90s.

Following the resounding success of Rythm by Nature's first release by Nail, the imprint's second outing, "Deep Cuts", builds upon the previous momentum and introduces label owner SaPu for his first solo EP. "Deep Cuts" features three groove-drenched original works and a foot-stomping remix from Berlin-based groove master and sound wizard Tripmastaz.

Drawing from his 15+ years of experience in the scene, "Deep Cuts" displays SaPu's impeccable production skills and evident passion for deeper house grooves and hypnotic rhythms — the ideal music for extended dancing marathons. The EP's first track, 'Roll Out' (A1), is a classic, tech-house-infused banger: funky bass, filtered samples, and snappy percussion elements. Tripmastaz's version, 'Don't Let Joe Change the Name Dub' (A2), adds new layers of depth to the original, infusing it with dubby, sample-based elements and warm chords. SaPu's inclination for old-school grooves shines through on 'Clappin Iron' (B1), delivering Detroit tribal vibes punctuated by stabby synths and rolling basslines. Closing off the EP, 'Keep it Trill' (B2) provides a relatively stripped-down approach, allowing SaPu to demonstrate his innate skill in dubby sample manipulation.

The Robert Owens accapella was discovered by R+L Productions and licensed officially from Mr. Owens. Marcus Paulson returns to MOS with four cuts of raw, emotive jacking house from Manchester to Amsterdam. Carefully selected and road tested by Aroy Dee we got a mix of good vibe melodies with a proper 90s warehouse feel.

Monumental House anthem alert! Another classic jammer from 1992 lifted straight from the Strictly vaults. This one's HUGE. Phuture aka acid House pioneers Spanky and DJ Pierre (with a little help from Roy Davis JR) turn in a driving, acidic monster in true Wild Pitch style. Probably the only record that begins with a sinister voice saying 'This is cocaine speaking' before diving head-long into one of the best anti-drug House records ever. Absolutely brilliant. Bubbling 303 basslines and cavernous handclaps combine with a funked out, dubbed out synth line that just doesn't stop. Phuture will survive, and they weren't lying when they said that as this record (among too many others they had a hand in) still rock today. Yep, still fresh. Tried and tested, often imitated, never bettered. Phuture are the originals. Open up your eyes (and ears). This one's a tasty 2017 reissue and remaster, featuring all 4 mixes as per the original release way back when. Essential stuff here. You simply NEED this one.

Omnipresent on the Berlin scene, Stefan began DJing and producing in the 90’s, and is passionate about working in the analogue space with physical instruments – drum machines and synths – rather than computers.

Alongside friends, he organised underground parties on old demolition sites, as well as playing at legendary Berlin events like Tresor, Globus and Stellwerk.

Fuckthegovernment.Ltd, a.k.a. F.T.G (Alfredo Trastulli) and Music Box head honcho, Marco Riff, return to the Skylax fold in 2016 with a cache of house nuggets for our listening pleasure. Their last venture on Skylax saw F.T.G collaborate with a bunch of his friends, resulting in some of the best tracks we'd heard all year, including the unforgettable Fuckthegovernment theme. Their tracks have been celebrated and hailed by some of the best DJs in the game, names such as Derrick May, Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, and DJ Harvey. The bar set by the first record remains sky high, and somehow, these two manage to raise the bar even higher. It may be the biggest cliche going when talking about an album, but the duo certainly do take us on a journey, through the past and present of house music. It's a record not too dissimilar in tone to Paranoid London's from a few years back, but F.T.G and Marco strip things back even further than those guys did, in our opinion; The sound is more raw with less frills, and no track names to predispose feelings in the listener either. This eight track project is cohesive and elaborate, with movements through sounds both acid and jazzy, minimal and maximal. It explores sounds that came to prominence in famous house locales such as Detroit and Chicago over in the U.S., but the underground European influence is definitely present, from Paris to Berlin, and of course F.T.G and Marco's home of Italy. With this album, these guys add to the underground sound that has cultivated in the city of Perugia for years now, a place that has seen the likes of Simoncino and Nicholas hone their craft.Don't miss out on a piece of Skylax history!

Born and raised in the birthplace of House Music, Paul Johnson was known for his raw, soulful, and infectious sound, that helped shape Chicago's house scene and inspired generations of DJs worldwide in particular he was a massive inspiration to Daft Punk and the 'French Touch' scene. Releasing a vast amount of music throughout the 1990s for some of the most consistently underground dance labels including legendary Chicago imprints Cajual, Relief and Dance Mania he finally gained global fame with his 1999 hit “Get Get Down,” a dancefloor anthem that topped charts across Europe. Despite facing physical challenges, including losing both legs in accidents, he remained an unstoppable force in music—touring, producing, and uplifting others with his resilient spirit and signature groove.
Originally released in 1996 Feel The Music was Paul's second album for Peacefrog Records. Containing some of the classiest house music to hail from the Windy City. Classics such A Little Suntin Suntin , Summer Heat and I Wonder Why will have you smiling while you’re jackin’ and the irresistible and infectious Hear The Music was fthe opening track for Daft Punks legendary Radio 1 Essential Mix.

STAR CREATURE's GLOBAL CARESS series drops it's 4th release with a 6 track 12" EP from BYRON. The 7" teaser released this year around Detroit's Movement Festival sold out fast and is now out of print. This 12" expands on that with more unique melodies and hypnotic rhythms.

In 2016, a year after the 50th entry in the long-running series, none other but the iconic Detroit artist, DJ and producer Moodymann stepped up to helm the next landmark edition of DJ-Kicks, his first ever multi-artist DJ mix compilation. Following !K7's 40 th anniversary, this classic DJ-Kicks mix is now being repressed on coke bottle clear vinyl.
Born Kenny Dixon Jr., Moodymann is a one-of-a-kind electronic music icon, hailing from, and wholly synonymous with the Motor City. He is an outspoken, impossibly charismatic artist who has been putting a distinctive and soulful stamp on house and techno since the early 90s. Melting together jazz, funk, soul, blues and rock in captivating ways, he is responsible for some of electronic music’s most definitive tracks, EPs and LPs on labels like Planet E, Peacefrog and his own KDJ and Mahogani Music imprints. As able to serve up the sweetest and most sensual sounds as he is the darkest and most depraved grooves, his own unique voice and stream of conscious musings infuse expertly sought-out samples for music that is decisively alive and authentic.

Across 75 minutes and 30 tracks, Moodymann does not disappoint: despite being a notorious vinyl fetishist, Dixon’s aim is to present music of quality, not to one-up fellow collectors. With four tracks spanning roughly 26 minutes, this record has since gained cult status among DJs, collectors, and aficionados of the deeper, more soulful yet futuristic side of house music. Abacus crafted a quintessential deep-house journey: warm grooves, lush textures, scorched sub-bass, and a deeply introspective futuristic atmosphere. Bascom produced a record that never chased trends, but instead quietly built a lasting legacy. This record remained rare and highly sought after. In an era when house music was splintering into countless directions - even reaching the pop charts - The Relics E.P. planted its flag firmly in the underground, soulful terrain. Collectors and DJs continue to cite it as essential deep house, often describing it as ''one of the finest deep-house records of all time.'' Its scarcity and enduring emotional pull have only strengthened its legend. Decades on, The Relics E.P. continues to surface in DJ mixes and playlists, and as a touchstone for producers seeking that timeless balance of groove and emotion. Now, three Decades later, Clone Classic Cuts is proud to present a fully remastered edition of The Relics E.P., including previously unreleased material from the same recording sessions. After many years of being ''on-the-shelf'' we are extremely pleased to share these with the public. First up, we have a selection that was being considered for the ''Another Side'' (Fingers, Inc.) album that features Ron Wilson free-styling vocals to a deep-house vibe. To this day, we are not quite sure why this selection was not included on the project but are pleased to finally share it. Next up we have ''Electronic Debris'' delivering a ''mellow-deep'' vibe. Then we have ''Saspence'' with, as the title implies, a ''mysterious-deep-minimal house'' feel. Concluding the EP is ''Nyte Light'' delivering a ''deep-ambient-acid'' flavor. We sincerely hope that you enjoy these selections at the club and at home for a long time to come. Musically Yours...

Tripmastaz is back on his imprint with Tripmastaz 08 which features three large-scale dancefloor bangers ranging from freaky big-room smashers to dubby warehouse groovers. "Hypno Dre Vox" plays like a homage to the mid 00's big-room tech-house with its ever-rolling and intensely hypnotic sounds, crafted to turn raving minds unexpectedly upside-down. On the flip side, "Really Quick Dub" tones it down a notch for some dubby warmth while keeping the groove irresistibly bouncy, while "Radio Tranz" brings back the late 90's rave feel with sophistication and class. A no-joke, fail-proof EP to pulverize dancefloors.

Eliott Litrowski's Eyes Need Sugar EP brings a vibrant mix of electro, house, and deep grooves, designed for the dancefloor. Produced in Copenhagen for Dischi Autunno, the EP opens with the title track, Eyes Need Sugar, featuring trancey synths, a heavy bassline, and playful drums. Bright Lights, Big City follows with a Chicago house flavor and groovy acid lines, while Highway To Holler brings high-energy electro rhythms. The EP closes with Delicate Dance, blending electro and Italo influences with emotive pads and acid bass.
